Dear Professor Medkov:
I appreciated your contribution to the documentary “Demographic Winter.” You alone raised the issue, “Children will cease to exist.” That took a great deal of courage. I don’t even say it myself very often except to myself. But the possibility is very real. Let me explain.
You mentioned that the root cause is the weakened family, which is absolutely right. And it is not just the nuclear family that has weakened. It is the dissolving of the extended family that is just as important, the family out to about sixth cousin.
This biology is well documented in the literature. You can look at my references in the poster placed on nobabies.net on March 25, 2010. My letters and much else including more evidence is there as well. Although the phenomenon is beyond question it is little known. But as for “children will cease to exist, look at the experience of the Anasazi Indians in Long House Valley. Their population drops to zero with nobody moving in or out in the final decades. They simply went absolutely infertile. The bigger the population the worse, of course. Since we are now globalized, that does not leave anybody. Of course very small numbers could escape the demographic data I present.
So take a look at it. Please let me know what you think. We do not have much time left before the process is irreversible.
Sincerely,
M. Linton Herbert MD
